it is the feeling of a caged bird
For some birds, it takes more than courage and will to break free of a cage.
Even if the door is opened without guard, it is still not easy to fly away.
It is an unseen chain that bind them there inside the cage, unwilling to go outside unless the owner says, 'I let you go,'
No matter how useless the bird may feel, trapped inside the beautified cage for so many centuries, but then again, the birds stay.
It is not that they are unbearably stupid.
But they have this 'loyalty' to begin with.
More than courage, more than wishes to break free, more than strong will to fly away, the birds stop their step because of their loyalty.
Sure, it sounds so stupid.
Sure, it sounds like the birds are the ones to blame for their unwillingness to set themselves free.
Sure, it sounds like the birds are the most useless creature ever made.
Still, they keep trying to stay, if that is their owner's will.
Even if they are sick of being trapped inside the golden cage of the diamond manor, sitting above the most glorious pedestal and being famous for the beauty they exhibit, they choose to stay.
No soul in this world will truly understand what they are thinking.
But then again,
Their decision is absolute.
