Day 16: Light

I shine through everything.

I call it ridiculous when people obsess over me for something that is bound to the past.
Way to the past.

I am not living in my past.

I am not going to be dimmed by shadows.
I am the light, that shines through everything.
I blind eyes with brilliance.
I am not dimmed.
No matter how many black is spread around me, I will keep on shining.
Because I am, the light.

I am not going to be stopped by walls.
I am strong enough to break any walls if I want to.
I keep clearing my path from all obstacle.
Just so you know, I am unstoppable.
I will keep on walking, finding, treasuring, achieving, blinding
I keep choosing to move forward.
Because I am, strong.

I am the hydrogen.
The fuel.
The energy.
I keep on burning, shining with my light, like a star, like flare of the sun.

I will break the walls you set for me.
I will cast off the shadow you blow to me.
I will blind your eyes with my light until you cannot see the dark.

Until you acknowledge my present and not my past.
I will keep thriving.
I will keep rising.

I am air.
The air that you breathe.
The thing you find all around you.
It is not me who cannot escape. It is you who cannot leave, while I have been far, far away from where I used to be.
