you get something, you lose something

How come?
It doesn't matter how long you believe,
It doesn't matter how long you stay,
It doesn't matter how long you hold on,
Nothing is important on the judgement of the world.

We are oblivious of future,
We'll never know what may happen one second ahead,
To get something while losing something is normal,
Life is all about balance whatsoever,

But also keep in mind that it also works in reverse order,
Which means, when you lost something, you'll get something in return.
